Vickie received her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the State University of New York Collage at Cortland in 1985, where she majored in Health Education. She received her Master of Education Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University in 2001. She became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida in 2004. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors)

Certified Addiction Professional (#1986)
Vickie has been a State of Florida Certified Addictions Professional since 1999. She is also recognized as an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC) since 1999.
